    The Ad Council campaign is one of the most exciting things to ever happen in support of the nationwide Meals on Wheels movement! And, we’re providing all the support your program needs to get the most out of it.     Many thanks to Subaru of America for inviting Meals on Wheels to once again participate in its annual Share the Love Event. Held at the end of each year, Subaru donates $250 to a host of charitable partners – including Meals on Wheels America – for every new Subaru vehicle sold or leased, per the selection of each customer. Over the course of our nine-year partnership, Subaru has supported the Meals on Wheels network in the delivery of more than 1.7 million meals, and we look forward to another successful revenue share with participating Members.

    MARCH FOR MEALS

    Meals on Wheels America welcomes all Members to take part in the March for Meals campaign as an opportunity to support not only your program’s success, but also the Meal on Wheels nationwide movement. Working collaboratively, we can effectively strengthen our individual efforts to increase awareness and community engagement in supporting our senior neighbors.

    DOSOMETHING.ORG'S LOVE LETTERS

    For the last three years, Meals on Wheels America has teamed up with DoSomething.org, the largest organization for young people and social change, to encourage young people across the country to create handmade Valentine's Day cards to lift the spirits of older adults. Each year before the campaign kicks off, Meals on Wheels America Members have the opportunity to register their program as a card recipient. Cards arrive in the mail and are perfect for distributing to clients through meal deliveries or in congregate settings. To date, over 100,000 youth volunteers have created nearly one million handmade cards for our seniors.
