    Sara Dalton volunteers with STEP, Inc., and coordinates all of the volunteers who deliver meals to homebound seniors in Meadows of Dan in Virginia. Like so many volunteers, she doesn't claim the credit, but shares it with those she works with.

    "I would like to take this opportunity to recognize and thank all of the Meadows of Dan Meals on Wheels volunteers. Not only do they provide a service to our community by getting food to our seniors who need home-delivered meals, they also provide the equally important warm human contact. How nice to live in a community with such kind and loving people!"
