Members of the Meals On Wheels Association of America staff join
Congressman Jim McGovern (MA-2), Feeding America and the National Council on Aging (NCOA) today to brief congressional staff on the complex issue of senior hunger and what lawmakers can do to help. The briefing, as part of the 12th Annual March for Meals, will address how ensuring proper nutrition for our nation’s most vulnerable seniors is not only right from a moral perspective, but that it is the best thing to do for our nation’s fiscal future because it saves taxpayer dollars.
