ASST. SEC. KATHY GREENLEE TO VISIT MEALS ON WHEELS OF CENTRAL MARYLAND ON FINAL DAY OF MARCH FOR MEALS

In celebration of the Meals On Wheels Association of America’s March for Meals campaign and National Nutrition Month, Assistant Secretary for Aging & Administrator of the Administration for Community Living, Kathy Greenlee, will join Gloria G. Lawlah, Secretary of Aging for the Maryland Department of Aging and President of the National State Units on Aging and Disabilities (NASUAD), to visit with Meals on Wheels volunteers and clients of the Bain Center – a home-delivery distribution center operated by Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland. Also in attendance will be Ellie Hollander, President and CEO of the Meals On Wheels Association of America, Stephanie Archer-Smith, Executive Director of Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland, and Catherine Max, Board President of Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland. As part of this visit, Assistant Secretary Greenlee and Secretary Lawlah will be commemorated as the National March for Meals Community Champions on the last day of the 12th annual celebration of the Meals on Wheels programs that keep seniors happier, healthier and independent in their own homes.
