    JUST ANNOUNCED:

THE 2020 MEALS ON WHEELS ANNUAL CONFERENCE GOES VIRTUAL

STILL SET FOR SEPTEMBER 1-3, 2020

VIRTUAL PRE-CONFERENCE EVENTS BEGIN AUGUST 31

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we have decided to cancel our in-person Meals on Wheels Annual Conference and Expo that was scheduled to take place in San Diego, CA, September 1-3, 2020 (with pre-Conference events beginning August 31). Instead, we look forward to holding a virtual convening during the same timeframe.

The public health and safety of our attendees, sponsors, exhibitors, speakers, staff, and most importantly the high-risk population that is counting on Meals on Wheels during this uncertain time and always, led us to conclude that cancelling our annual face-to-face meeting was the responsible and necessary action to take.

While we yearn for the time when it is deemed safe and appropriate to re-convene the Meals on Wheels community at large, your Association is exercising its creativity and imagination to deliver a relevant and focused virtual event with a lot of the same great content and opportunities to connect that were planned for San Diego. We will continue to share additional information in the coming weeks and encourage you continue to hold August 31 – September 3, 2020 on your calendar.

Special thanks to the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina for their partnership and understanding during unprecedented times for both parties. We hope to return to their gorgeous property in the future. If you have already secured a room there, we encourage you to cancel as soon as you are able.

    STAY TUNED FOR MORE INFORMATION!
