1 - WHAT HAPPENED TO THE OLD MEMBER CENTRAL?
On January 5, we introduced an all-new way to experience your Meals on Wheels America Membership online.
2 - WHY DID MEALS ON WHEELS AMERICA RECREATE MEMBER CENTRAL?
This redesigned Member-only online portal is now more comprehensive and intuitive, providing an easy-to-navigate environment that houses all of your Member benefits and resources. And, what you experience today is just the beginning! Throughout 2018, we will be rolling out features that will enable you to manage your Membership online, connect with fellow Members across the country and enjoy a new learning platform.
3 - HOW WILL THIS TRANSITION AFFECT ME?
All Members – regardless of whether or not you had access to the old Member Central platform – will need to set up a new username (now your email address) and password to access the new Member Central and all the Member content housed within. See HOW CAN I ACCESS MEMBER CENTRAL? below for more details.
4 - AM I ABLE TO SHARE LOGIN CREDENTIALS WITH MY COLLEAGUES?
Each member of your organization must use a unique email address and password to log in to Member Central. If you don’t currently use a unique email address (e.g. firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com), please request access so that we can set you up with your own individual login.
5 - HOW CAN I ACCESS MEMBER CENTRAL?
On January 5, all active Members in our database were sent an email noting that your new username is simply the email address at which you receive communications from us, as well as providing a temporary password (MOW2018 – case sensitive) for your initial login. (Note: If you’ve previously unsubscribed from any Meals on Wheels America email, you would not have received this.)
When you log in for the first time, you will be asked to create a new password. After this initial set up, you’ll be free to log in and access all the information within Member Central at any time as long as your organization maintains its active Membership status.
If your email address is not currently in our database of Members, you will need to request access.
On the login page, you’ll see a link to “Request Access.” We will first double check to make sure you’re not already in our database. If you are, you can login using your email address and temporary password noted above. If you are not in our database, you can request access by filling out some brief information about yourself and creating a password. Typically, within one business day, we will validate your affiliation with your dues-paying organization and you will receive an email confirming that you’re now able to log in.

6 - WHO CAN ACCESS MEMBER CENTRAL?
All staff and board members of active Meals on Wheels America Member programs have access to Member Central, providing a wide range of services and information designed specifically to help you better serve the seniors in your community. See the Member Central Login Guide for step-by-step instructions for logging in for the first time or requesting access.
If your organization is not a Member, we welcome all non-profit organizations, governmental agencies and tribal organizations engaged directly in the provision of meals and/or nutrition services to seniors to join the Meals on Wheels America family. 7 - WHAT ARE THE CURRENT MEMBER CENTRAL FEATURES?
Throughout Member Central, you’ll find all of the current grant opportunities, learning events, national campaigns, research and relevant information your Membership provides, most of which is organized under the RESOURCES section. There’s also a NEWS section with timely updates regarding the network and a Meals on Wheels America Staff Directory in the event you need to contact us.
8 - WHAT CAN MEMBERS EXPECT IN THE FUTURE?
Throughout 2018, we’ll be rolling out features that will provide you the ability to manage your Membership online through the MY MEMBERSHIP section. We’re also working on a platform to enable you to easily connect with fellow Members across the country for virtually networking and collaboration, as well as a new and improved learning management system that will enhance the offerings of the Leadership Academy.
We’re putting the finishing touches on these capabilities and will introduce them shortly.
9 - WHAT HAPPENS IF MY ORGANIZATION DOESN’T RENEW ITS MEMBERSHIP?
If your organization does not renew its Membership before the annual expiration date, you will lose access to Member Central, as it is a benefit for active dues-paying Members only. When your organization renews, your access will automatically be restored. If you have questions about your Membership status, please contact us at 888-998-6325 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
