VOTING NOW OPEN FOR THE 2014 AMERICAN VOLUNTEER CONTEST

The Meals On Wheels Association of America announces today that voting has opened for the annual American Volunteer Contest. The Meals on Wheels program whose nominated volunteer receives the most votes through the Association’s Facebook app will receive $1,000 and a fully-produced video to promote the great work they’re doing in the community. Supporters can vote for one of the 39 volunteer nominees at www.facebook.com/mowaa from Monday, July 28 through Wednesday, August 13. Prizes will be awarded to the top three vote-getters, as well as to the entry chosen as the Association staff honorable mention.
