Stocks, Bonds and Mutual Funds
Donating stocks, bonds or mutual funds is an effective way to help Meals on Wheels America combat the growing threats of senior hunger and isolation nationwide. Making this gift is simple and could offer you valuable financial benefits*:
- The gift’s total value may be tax deductible upon transfer.
- There is no obligation to pay capital gains taxes on the appreciation since you purchased the stock, bond or mutual fund.

ACH/Bank Account Transfers
If you wish to donate funds directly from your bank account, there are two options:
- Initiate a wire transfer with your bank. Please contact Frances.Abele@mealsonwheelsamerica.org for account information.
- Pay via ACH transfer on our donation page. In step 3, choose Pay With Your Bank Account. After you enter your account details, you will receive a confirmation email from our payment processor Stripe with next steps to securely complete your transfer.
Once you are ready to make your donation, please share your plans with Frances Abele at frances.abele@mealsonwheelsamerica.org so she can quickly process the donation and to provide you with proper credit.

Combined Federal Campaign
Meal on Wheels America participates in the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), the world’s largest and most successful workplace giving program. This campaign gives federal government employees, and federal civilian, postal and military personnel the opportunity to easily contribute to a selected charity each year.

Meals on Wheels America accepts donations of nearly every kind of motorized vehicle, running or not, including cars, trucks, trailers, boats, RVs, motorcycles, campers, off-road vehicles, planes, heavy equipment and farm machinery.
