Subaru of America

Since 2008, Subaru and its retailers have gone the extra mile for America’s seniors — supporting Meals on Wheels through their Subaru Share the Love® Event, providing vehicles, volunteering time and building local partnerships that help fuel our network.

Since 2008, Subaru includes Meals on Wheels America in its Subaru Share the Love® Event. With every new Subaru vehicle purchased or leased during the holiday season, Subaru and its retailers donate a minimum of $300 to charities like Meals on Wheels.*

And that’s just the start. In local communities, Subaru retailers and Meals on Wheels providers forge long-lasting partnerships:

  • 50 Subaru Outback vehicles were donated to celebrate Subaru’s 50th anniversary.
  • Select retail leaders serve on local Meals on Wheels boards.
  • Retail staff often volunteer to deliver meals to and visit with seniors.
  • From collecting paper products to making birthday gifts for Meals on Wheels clients, local retailers find dozens of other ways to give back.

Through the Share the Love® Event, Subaru and its retailers have helped donate and deliver more than 5.2 million meals and friendly visits to homebound seniors nationwide. They’ve also extended their giving following major natural disasters, including Hurricanes Helene and Milton in 2024 and the central Texas floods and Los Angeles wildfires in 2025. To date, Subaru and its retailers have donated more than $37 million to Meals on Wheels America and its network of local providers.
