Douglas "Doug" Wright

Doug has served as president and CEO of SENIOR Solutions / Meals on Wheels Upstate South Carolina in Anderson, SC since 1998. In this capacity, Doug has led the growth of SENIOR Solutions to six organizations, including wholly owned subsidiaries, and has increased the size of the staff from 20 to over 140. He has served as director on the Meals on Wheels America board since 2023, and has brought substantial business, finance and program management skills to the board’s deliberations. In addition, Doug has served as president of the South Carolina Council on Aging Directors Association, chair of the Public Policy Committee for the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce and has served on the board of directors as its president. Prior to joining SENIOR Solutions, Doug was executive director of the Red Cross chapter in Ellsworth, ME, and previously ran his own CPA business for 20 years. Doug graduated from Thomas College with a degree in business administration.
