Former Chief Administrative Officer & Senior Advisor to the President & CEO National Restaurant Association

Marvin recently retired following a distinguished career at the National Restaurant Association (NRA), where he served in numerous leadership roles, including most recently as chief administrative officer and senior advisor to the president and CEO. Since joining the NRA in 2010, Marvin guided the organization through sustained growth, strengthened its long-term financial stability, and led key initiatives including enterprise-wide forecasting and strategic planning alignment. He also served as interim president and CEO during the early days of the pandemic. Prior to the NRA, Marvin held senior financial leadership roles at Shawmut Design & Construction
and Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, and earlier in his career worked at PepsiCo, Kraft and Procter & Gamble. A Chicago native, he holds a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and currently serves on the boards of Meals on Wheels America, PBS, Children International and the Breakthrough Collaborative.
