Executive Director, Meals on Wheels of Rhode Island

Meg joined Meals on Wheels of Rhode Island (MOWRI) in 2019 as executive director, leading the organization through a period of significant transformation, growth and expanded impact. Under her leadership, MOWRI has evolved from a grassroots, community-based organization into a trusted statewide healthcare partner while preserving the integrity of its core nutrition programs. Grady’s leadership has earned recognition nationally and within Rhode Island. She received the Meals on Wheels America Sister Alice Marie Quinn Award (2025) and the Rhode Island Monthly and Rhode Island Foundation Carteaux Bannister Award (2024), honoring leaders advancing equity and diversity. She has also been recognized by Providence Business News with a C-Suite Award (2023), named a Nonprofit Woman to Watch (2021), and selected for 40 Under Forty (2016). She holds an honorary doctorate from Rhode Island College, a master’s degree from Roger Williams University, and a bachelor’s degree from Merrimack College. Grady currently serves as chair of the Governor’s Advisory Commission on Aging and on advisory boards for Brown University School of Public Health and Women & Infants Hospital Foundation
