2024 Subaru Share The Love® Event Targets Nearly $320 Million In Total Donations
Subaru of America, Inc. has launched its 17th annual Subaru Share the Love® Event, aiming to raise $32 million in 2024 and nearly $320 million overall since the campaign’s inception. From November 21, 2024, to January 2, 2025, Subaru will donate $250 for every new vehicle purchased or leased, with additional contributions to over 820 local charities selected by retailers. Supporting ASPCA®, Make-A-Wish®, Meals on Wheels, and the National Park Foundation, the campaign highlights the automaker’s dedication to community impact. Two new ads, The Hard Work of Love and Hometown Love, will run on TV, digital, and streaming platforms, showcasing the charitable efforts of Subaru retailers and national partners.

A new study by the WellSky Foundation and Meals on Wheels America finds that meal delivery services reduce senior hospitalizations by up to 93% within 90 days post-discharge. This collaboration highlights how integrating meal programs with healthcare can address social factors like food insecurity and isolation, leading to better health outcomes for seniors. The research shows that 98% of participants felt the service aided their recovery, emphasizing the critical role of community support in senior healthcare.
Food Lion Feeds Donation Reaches $1 Million To Meals On Wheels America
With a commitment to nourishing neighbors, Food Lion Feeds is donating $250,000 to support hunger relief initiatives provided by Meals on Wheels America, bringing the total investment to $1 million since 2022. According to Meals on Wheels America, approximately 12 million seniors experience food insecurity, with many at greater risk of malnutrition due to decreased appetite, mobility issues and a myriad of other factors.
