Thanks to our ongoing relationship with Subaru of America, Meals on Wheels America is pleased to provide 25 need-based scholarships of $750 each to assist Member programs unable to attend the 2018 Meals on Wheels Annual Conference due to financial constraints.
All active Meals on Wheels America Member programs are eligible to apply for a scholarship to send a staff person or board member to the 2018 Conference. Scholarship applications will be judged based on financial need and what could be gained by attending. Applicants will be asked to describe their financial or organizational hardships and outline how this year's Conference focus areas could help overcome these challenges. NOTE: Each Member program is eligible to receive one scholarship, and therefore only one application will be reviewed. Before submitting an application, please confer with your staff on who will be submitting the application for your organization.
The application period has closed. Results will be communicated by mid-June.
PAYMENT INFORMATION
Scholarship funding can be applied toward the cost of full registration, hotel and/or travel. Scholarship award recipients will be required to register and pay Full Conference Registration fees in advance of the early bird deadline on July 1. Reimbursement checks for the full amount of the scholarship award will be provided onsite at the Conference.
