Katie Jantzi joined Meals on Wheels America in 2017 and currently serves as Vice President of Government Affairs. In this position, she is responsible for leading and overseeing the organization’s public policy and legislative agenda in support of Senior Nutrition Programs and the individuals they serve nationwide. She is the primary liaison to Members of Congress and their staffs, representatives of the Administration and other national anti-hunger and aging organizations.
Most recently, Katie worked for six years and was the Director of FeedMore’s Meals on Wheels in Richmond, Virginia, leading successful and innovative programs to deliver nourishing meals and social connections to individuals throughout 14 cities and counties in the state. Before beginning work with Meals on Wheels, Katie served as a hospice medical social worker. She is a licensed clinical social worker with a Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University.
