    DON'T STOP NOW™

    KEEP THE MOMENTUM GOING

COVID-19 imposed a sudden and imminent risk to older Americans—and the response from all across this country was unprecedented. Ordinary people stood up, spoke up and gave generously so that Meals on Wheels could provide a lifeline for millions of isolated, frightened seniors whose futures still remain terribly uncertain. We need to keep the momentum of generosity going.

Thanks to your help, we have already sent more than $31 million dollars directly to the front lines in the fight against COVID-19. To date, your donations have already helped 632 local Meals on Wheels programs continue to serve as a vital lifeline for at-risk seniors throughout this crisis, we won't stop now.

Over the past few months, the renewed generosity of companies and brands made a real difference for local programs and in the lives of the vulnerable seniors they serve. Keep showing them you care.

SENIORS NEED US NOW MORE THAN EVER

COVID-19 poses its greatest threat to vulnerable seniors, and Meals on Wheels is on the front lines, keeping older Americans safe and nourished.

Local programs across the country desperately need your help to continue to deliver a vital lifeline to our most at-risk Americans.

The costs and efforts associated with protecting seniors from COVID-19 require additional emergency funds, which is why we are working with federal lawmakers to make sure vulnerable seniors are not forgotten in the national response.

PROGRAMS DELIVER TO MORE SENIORS TO KEEP UP WITH DEMAND

Vulnerable seniors are at the greatest risk amid COVID-19. Local Meals on Wheels programs are on the front lines every day, focused on doing all they can to keep older Americans safe and nourished in communities across the country. In fact, a new survey conducted by Meals on Wheels America reveals that programs are now serving an average of 47% more seniors than they were March 1, when concerns over COVID-19 and social distancing measures began taking hold. Not only that, the pulse survey found that 97% of local Meals on Wheels programs have seen costs rise, particularly due to the need to acquire safety supplies and deliver more meals to each senior amid uncertainty.
