Meals on Wheels Annual Conference and Expo Registration is open to senior nutrition program staff and boards only. Individuals from government agencies and/or Meals on Wheels America partner organizations are eligible to attend and should contact us at membership@mealsonwheelsamerica.org or 1-888-998-6325 to register. If you are looking to sponsor or exhibit at our event, you can learn more here.

**We encourage individuals from Member-eligible organizations to join Meals on Wheels America prior to registering for the 2019 Conference. Membership dues range from $175 to $300 annually for an entire organization, providing every individual on your staff and board access to valuable Member benefits all year long. To register by check, you must complete a registration form and mail it along with payment in full to:

Registrations will not be processed without payment. Early bird registration payment is due in full no later than July 3, 2019 in order for discounted rates to apply.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

Cancellation requests must be made in writing to membership@mealsonwheelsamerica.org by August 1, 2019. Please include your name, organization name, email address and the event you would like to cancel. Refunds will be issued for any registration cancellations before August 1, 2019, minus $75 in administrative fees. Refunds will not be issued on or after August 1, 2019. Refunds will not be given for no-shows.

SUBSTITUTION POLICY

A transfer of your full registration to another individual is allowed prior to the Conference by submitting your request in writing to membership@mealsonwheelsamerica.org. Please include your name, organization and email address, as well as the name, organization and email address of the person to whom you are transferring your registration.

2019 SCHOLARSHIPS

Thanks to ongoing relationships with our generous corporate partners, Meals on Wheels America is pleased to provide several scholarships opportunities to assist Member programs in attending this year's event. The application period is now closed. Results will be communicated by mid-June.

PRE-CONFERENCE SESSION REGISTRATION • AUGUST 26, 2019

Our Pre-Conference sessions are designed to kick-start learning on Monday, August 26 and enhance your 2019 Conference experience. Space is limited and an additional registration fee is required. Pre-Conference Sessions are not subject to early-bird discounts.

To register, simply add the session(s) to your cart during the Conference registration process. If you have already purchased your registration and would like to add a Pre-Conference session, you can do so under MY EVENTS in Member Central.

An Introduction to Partnerships and Possibilities

Partnering with healthcare provides the best opportunity for the Meals on Wheels network to reach more clients, keep them healthy and safe in their own homes, and tap into the abundant funding that can future-proof our organizations. Our 2019 Pre-Conference crash course is designed to provide programs beginning to consider healthcare as an option with a foundational understanding of what’s possible and what’s needed to play in this space. You’ll hear from experts in the field about how you can ready your program, get a seat at the table and tell the story of your impact. If you’re looking to dive deep into these promising opportunities in healthcare at this year’s Conference, this session is a great place to start.

1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. – Intensive Workshops

NRCNA Intensive Workshop: Imagining an Innovative and Sustainable Future Through Creative Thinking
Fee: $60; includes refreshment break

Creativity – it's critical for your business! Innovative practices and programs offer senior nutrition programs the opportunity to meet the evolving needs of the seniors they serve, remain nimble in the face of a changing business environment, drive improved health outcomes for program recipients by promoting a higher quality of services and increased program efficiency. To build a sustainable future, we must first imagine what it will look like. Join the National Resource Center on Nutrition and Aging (NRCNA) for an in-depth Pre-Conference Intensive Workshop led by trainer and master innovation facilitator Gregg Fraley. Attendees are encouraged to attend two virtual sessions included in the price of registration – one prior to this in-person workshop at the Dallas Sheraton Hotel on August 26, 2019 and one following. This three-part learning series is designed to engage senior nutrition program leaders in an exciting and proven method rooted in creative problem solving to find fresh perspectives and identify new opportunities. This technique, combined with an array of targeted tools and resources, will enable you to identify key challenges and plan for an innovative future.

Intensive Workshop: Social Enterprise Fundamentals
Fee: $60; includes refreshment break
Track: Leadership

Social enterprise as a way to help generate revenue has been an increasingly popular topic in recent years as more and more Meals on Wheels programs find success in these ventures. If you are an aspiring social entrepreneur interested in learning how to start your own social enterprise or improve the one you already have, this Pre-Conference Intensive Workshop is for you. Vin Hoey from Strategic4sight will teach you what you need to know to go from a rookie to a pro. This fast-paced interactive session will start by covering foundational social enterprise knowledge and end with business plan development and marketing. Along the way, you’ll explore just what your organization could turn into a social enterprise, how to compete with other businesses and designing a business plan that can have you on your way to getting your idea off the ground!

SINGLE DAY REGISTRATION

While full registration is recommended, single day registration is available for those who are unable to attend all three days. Single day registrants may only attend keynotes, sessions, meals and receptions on the day purchased.

Single Day Member rate - $225
Single Day Non-Member rate - $375

Single day registrations are not subject to early-bird discounts. Rates increase by $25 if purchasing on site.

SPONSORS & EXHIBITORS REGISTRATION

2019 Sponsors and Exhibitors can significantly increase their networking opportunities with key decision-makers by purchasing additional full Conference registrations. With each full Conference registration, you can attend meals, keynotes, receptions and most sessions. Please note that some sessions will be open to senior nutrition program staff only.

Each Exhibitor booth fee includes one full Conference registration; additional registrations must be paid for separately. You can purchase additional full Conference registrations for $575 per person by contacting expo@mealsonwheelsamerica.org.
